Kookaburras

Writing

This term the Kookaburras have been focusing on fairy tales in the Stage 1 concept unit. During writing groups, the students have been creating  sentences that paint a picture in the reader's mind. Some of the writing tasks have included: a description of the evil step sisters, an interview with the big bad wolf and creating their own delicious gingerbread men recipes with a twist.
