Writing

In Sharks, we have been working really hard to improve our spelling and writing. We do our writing together to sound out our words. We have set ourselves writing goals and use our ice cream scoops to check if we are improving. We are working on learning our sight words, stretching out words to spell them in our writing and remembering our finger spaces. We have our ‘word to learn’ when it is a tricky word we need to focus on. We love using our writing centre during literacy groups, to write and post letters to our friends in our class mailbox. We are proud to share our writing with our parents on Seesaw every day.
