Growth in the classroom and beyond

We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.

Ngara Ngurrawa - Learning on Country

This artwork tells the story of Llandilo Public School. The meeting place in the middle represents the school, with each ring representing a year of schooling from K-6. The people sitting around the meeting place are the teachers and staff of the school. The connecting meeting places with the wavy lines show the many waterbodies (dams/billabongs) that surround the school and reflect that the school is within an area that, at times, is impacted by water and flooding. Two rivers border the beautiful Country that surrounds the school The Nepean River (Yandhai) is at the top left of the artwork with the Blue Mountains (Gulamada – a place of Koalas) behind. In the bottom right of the artwork you can see South Creek (Wianamatta) If you looked at the school from above it would look similar to the placing of these landforms. In the top right corner, there are some gum leave that connect to the beautiful big gum tress that grow throughout and near the school which have a little bit of red on them. This also incorporates the three school colours green, yellow and red. All of the little dots across the artwork represent the students and their families (past, present, and future) who are all a part of the beautiful learning community of Llandilo Public School.
